Our Story
Financial Literacy Outreach Workshop, or FLOW, was founded with the mission of empowering students to make informed financial decisions. Founded in 2021 by three passionate high school students with experience in finance and education, FLOW started as a volunteer education program teaching our Financial Cornerstones course to elementary school students in our hometown.

After finding success with this program, we realized that we could have a much broader impact. So, in August of 2023, we gained 501(c)(3) tax exemption as a charitable organization.

Our goal is to bridge the gap in financial literacy for elementary, middle and high school students in underserved communities that lack access to financial education. Through engaging programs, interactive workshops and hands-on learning, we teach the fundamentals of budgeting, saving, investing and wealth management. Additionally, we collect donations to support standout students, providing them with financial resources in the hopes that they can begin investing and work towards financial freedom using the skills they have acquired in our classes. Since our founding, we have taught 3 different courses in 15 classes. With your help, we have raised over $5,000.

As we continue to grow, our goal is to expand our reach, partner with organizations nationwide and develop even more resources to ensure every student has the tools they need for financial success.
